Personal I have never been able to find porn on the internet...where is it? I even typed "Pictures of Naked ladies" into Google and you only get 3 links, all of which link to some museum in Bradford advertising some modernist painter... It's quite hard....
  3. Speaking of money, would it simply be best to use cashpoints over there, or would travellers cheques be best (Can't remember the last time I used them! E
  4. Take your time and see if you can read each line aloud without a mistake. The average person over 40 years of age cannot do it! 1. This is this cat. 2. This is is cat. 3. This is how cat. 4. This is to cat. 5. This is keep cat. 6. This is an cat. 7. This is old cat. 8. This is fart cat. 9. This is busy cat. 10. This is for cat. 11. This is forty cat. 12. This is seconds cat. Now go back and read the third word in each line from the top down
  5. THAT IS SCARY! I can even ID the car outside my house! Now to find the nude sunbathers!!!
  6. Cheers to everyone, though more thoughts welcome please! Yes, have decided that all stuff will be in the car boot when driving, and will adopt the ragged, not-worth-mugging look which I favour when in war zones... I guess, as you say Brendan, just don't be stupid.

Eurostar NEVER leaves from Paddington....so obviously journey is doomed from the start....
  8. Loz, When you say PE, to you mean Port Elisabeth or Physical Education ;-) Drop me a PM with when you're free and we can grab that coffee.... E

Tell him. These are the house rules, you clean up after yourself. If you don't like the idea then find somewhere else.
  10. Hi All, Off to visit SA with work soon, and want to know what are the "Do and Don'ts" when there. I'll be flying into Port Elizabeth spending 5 days there then driving the Garden route, then spending a few days in Cape Town. So, is thew hype about the danger in the country justifed? Do I need to make sure I never stop for what look like accidents or breakdowns, (Is car jacking that serious a problem?) IS it universally dangerous to go out at night? I also want to go running while I'm out there. I was imagining running up and down seafronts, around city parks and such like, but all in daylight. Anyone care to comment? Or, if you keep the same wits about you, that you use in London, you'll survive? Eric

Were they > ripped off? :o Oh Yes!! The only "route" argument I have had was when once picked up at Traf Sq. NOw to my mind, quickest is always Vauxhall - Camberwell - Denmark Hill - ED. This route however took us along the northern embankment to Albert Bridge, past battersea park, up to Clapham, then to acre lane, down to Brixton, through to camberwell, Denmark Hill then ED. All the time I was questioning this, which got him very arsey indeed! Eventaully got out, being amazed I didn't wee myself (I was in SOO much pain!) and argued the ?40 fair. I offered him ?25, he threatened to call the police. "OK do that" He took the ?25, swore at me and drove off. On thing I have found that avoids this is to say "Are you going via" then the main key points on the shortest route home. Of course make sure you know your route or you could get stung. HTH E

Give us your address, we'll chuck me kebab wrappers in your garden each week...see if your feelings are the same. Good approach BTW. Steve..

  15. Must say the current Single's lyrics (You want a piece of me) are very good. OK, bit more pop than I care for, but still good IMHO. Yep agree with you Chav, pity to see someone driven to this by the Paps.

But then I guess a mailshot woud lbe seen as a cost also. > I daren't log in to my inbox anymore - and that's > even if I use a clean new address and never enter > it into any web form Don't know if you know but spammers use mail address auto generation code. so a list of names is combined with a list of known web url's ISP's and they are combined so [email protected], [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] and so on.... Annasfield......EH!?!?!?
  20. Received a very effective looking spoof eBay spam this morning which asked if I had an item still for sale. Clicking the link woudl have taken me to a fake eBay logoin page...and you can guess the rest. As an eBay, and spam aware user, I didn;t click the link, but fired up another browser, went to e-bay and searched for the item ID (As it's a while since I have sold anything and was suspicios. Anyhow, as it turns out I'm not selling dolls to saddos in America I forward the smap to eBay's report-a-spoof mail address. (Finally getting to the point)..it seems to me that there enough web savvy people out there to maybe start and hit back at the spoofers. Assume they sent out 10,000 copies of that mail, and I'm aware it's likely to be a helluva lot more..., then if you;re web savvy enough, why not click the link, fill in the webpage, but with totally duff info? To my mind the result would be a spammers database of collected info full of crap data. Hopefully the resulting volumes of crap data would make trying to find out the correct data a waste fo time? Down side I can see is that maybe it'll notify the mail address is valid, but I thought that if you POP your mail then that's done anyway? Thoughts? E

  23. I don't wish to sound like I'm trying to save the starving children of the world with my donations which must number about 10 per year, but a "Thank You" from some of the people in these shops when you drop off some bags of stuff would be nice I have to say...If only for the common courtesy!
