  1. Ah yes, i have been the victim of 3 incorrect pregnancy seat offerings (not for a long time thankfully) - when i put weight on it goes straight to my belly, and to be fair it could look like early stages of pregnancy. Although they had the best of intentions it did leave me feeling completely crap, expecially when everyone else on the tube commences staring at said belly. I agree with Loz, just ask for a seat and you shall (hopefully) receive!
  2. wow that's amazing.
  3. I think people do give up their seats when they realise, it's just awkward sometimes to know if someone would be offended if you offer them a seat. I've often tried to peak over my book to work out if someone is preggers or just a bit podge, and if i'm unsure I leave it. It's the same with older people, you just don't know if they'd be offended or happy. I think if i ever had a bun in the oven I'd get a badge because it's also awkard to ask. As for parking in the disabled bays, there is no excuse for it, and good for you AC for telling customer services.
  4. jut found this on the beeb: "Following the fire the leader of Southwark Council, Nick Stanton, said the design of the building was "not untypical" and that ?3.5m had recently been spent on refurbishing it to meet current fire safety standards." http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/8135535.stm
  5. At least Southwark sounds like it's doing all it can to help. Such a tragic event. P.S. I don't think it matters which section it is in, i found it, you found it so it doesn't matter.
  6. I don't go in green and blue because it looks intimidating and I know nothing about wine (except that i like to drink it). Keefs comment of no prices did momentarily put me off completely until I read Brendans post. I think i will have some dutch courage then go in this weekend.
  7. Is yours overheating? There's rumours of a fault with the battery getting too hot.
  8. 'Hello' will be doing a home makeover and Bob makeover while they're there so need need to tidy or wash.
  9. what a combo, i'm very excited indeed.

  11. Qas he of large proportions then? Only joking, I'm sure your Dad was lovely, and I think my dad is lovely and that's all that counts.
  12. I don't know any of the right people and sadly they don't know me - what a sad thing to discover on a sunny day. I enjoyed the use of the old pirate bay, it served me well. My dad is better than your dad though SKS.
  13. I think it's all very lovely and you can't really go wrong. I think you need to just go and have a look and you'll either like the feel of a road or not. I live on Lordship Lane, near Blackwater Street and I don't think it's too noisy. Good luck.
  14. i like it when men cycle up steep hills and have to lift of the seat - lovely view of pertness. Other than that they're all nobbers
  15. Diagnosis murder, murder she wrote or the one with a nun and a blind man would make my day (if i wasn't at work). The 2 times I've seen it i've thought Carol is alright, the rest just make me cringe but each to their own.
  16. i have no car and don't know where to park either.
  17. maybe try and find a phone number for them and ring and ask.
  18. I don't know but i'd guess the post box on the post office wall would be the latest.
  19. this or this? either are good to look at but for different reasons.
  20. Post a photo of your torso Davy and we will vote to say if you can run around topless. In my opinion I think running topless (for men) in the park is fine but not on Lordship Lane. Good luck with your tan, you'll need tiny tiny shorts.
  21. You should borrow a cute dog or baby and take it for a walk in one of the parks - that always works on the telly!
  22. at least they know what the want in a relationship!
  23. I hope your find your J-Lo booty babe davy.
  24. my mate was car stop searched on the old kent road and was told it was because she was white and they needed to even up the numbers so they didn't seem prejudice. I honestly don't know if they're a good idea or not but i spose if you think of it along the lines of say a million stop searches save just one life then they must be worth it. 8 times in 3 months would peeve you right off though!
