Marilyn Monroe I have recently become aware of this quote - as it seems to pop up a fair bit on Facebook, but I think I must be missing something fundamental here, because I don't get this one at all. To me it raises the question - but to what EXTENT are you a pain in the ar*e? And for what proportion of the time? And what is this concept of people "deserving" me?! Goodness moi.
  2. During the 12 days of Xmas the problem does seem a lot lot worse along the famous poo-line along Goodrich up to Dulwich Plough. Horrible.

Not necessarily. I bought my house from KFH in Peckham (and I live just off LL). Also, when I let my house a few years ago, I advertised through Wates (LL branch), but actually snared the tenant through the Dulwich Village branch.
  13. Do we assume the money for this comes from whatever the original budget was for the Royals last year, or is this going to require an additional wodge?

  18. I like the view when you walk down Underhill Rd., nr. Honor Oak Mansions, when you can see The Millenium wheel (or the big wheely thing, as its known in our house), bisected by the Post Office Tower.

I esp. like the desk he has cobbled together out of beer cans. Love it.

  21. I was a customer of Virgin about 5 years ago, and regularly still receive post from them, but I can't stop them. The post isn't actually addressed to me, it's to "The Occupier", Flat B,..... I have tried ringing them/emailing to stop them on a number of occasions, have tried returning to sending, but all to no avail. I have just had a quick squizz on the mail order prefs website, but they cannot intervene because they cannot deal with post sent to "The Occupier", or if you have been a customer of the company in the past. I know on a world scale that this is quite trivial, but it does p!ss me off - any suggestions as to how to stop it? Would it work if I forwarded it to Richard Branson's home address for instance?
