Hazle+Alex, please, please, pleeeeeease choose Matty's suggestion above. It's brilliant. I love Dill for a restaurant name here esp as its a nod to the origins of how Dulwich was named.

(ahem...and there's an LL in it and you happen to be on LL which is a common abbreviation for it on here) :))

Very best of luck with new venture.

Dilwihs, Dylways, Dullag, and may come from two old English words, Dill, a white flower, and wihs, meaning a damp meadow, giving a meaning of "the meadow where dill grows".

It's relevant, snappy and historical all in one. Excellent suggestion by Matty. My vote goes to that too.

Louisa.

    • I cannot speak highly enough about my experience with Yousef and his team for my recent house move in East Dulwich. Downsizing and relocating  my stuff from a house to a flat was made a calm and pleasant experience. The move included large and heavy items of furniture, taking items apart and reassembling in the new place, as well as loads of boxes. Nothing was too much trouble. I can thoroughly recommend this service, you will not be disappointed!
