Recommendation for Dulwich Eco Gardening

I can heartily recommend Saied if you need someone to landscape your garden. He works really hard (and in my case, through a day of rain...!) and has transformed my sloping garden into a level base with sleepers. He is careful to listen to what you want and seems to really enjoy creating what you have asked for. He is careful and professional with knowledge of appropriate plants, and has an easy and friendly manner. I I can whole hardheartedly recommend him.

He can be contacted on 07538760671.

Add my name to the list of recommendations for Saeid. He takes care of our garden in our rented property on a fortnightly basis. Last spring he did our front lawn and planted a very specie kind of grass to grow underneath our Willow tree. His expertise and knowledge has enabled us and our two children to enjoy the front space in our flat when our landlord didn't think it possible.

Saeid is working on our garden at the moment, putting in raised beds, a patio area for a barbeque, building a bench with storage, painting our fences and walls and helping us to pick some great plants and bulbs to turn what is a blank canvas into something we are really excited about. I would really recommend Saeid. He is enthusiastic, knows his stuff and is really hardworking. It's a real pleasure having him around.

Saied has now finished our garden for us and we are really pleased with it. He did an excellent job, working hard every day to get the job done. The result is brilliant. He takes real care with the planting and managed to get hold of some fantastic, mature plants (e.g. Virginia creeper, hydrangea, jasmine, roses). It's great to have it looking how we would like it to look already. The raised beds are smart and sturdy and we have a lovely, solid bench in one corner of the garden that can be used for storage. One of our walls needed pointing so Saied did that for us, whitewashed all the walls around the garden and stained the fences on top green. Everything looks fresh and tidy and we have a great structure to work with now. Looking forward to getting more plants in and great to know that Saied is on hand to help us in the Spring.

I called Saied to organise sorting out the front garden

over the summer it became completely overgrown

needed a complete redo!!

He came round and we discussed a price and a plan

Saied then a couple of days later spent the day clearing all

the overgrowth, digging and levelling the ground

Once levelled he seeded the ground and from there i just

had to water for a few days

My grass is growing now looking lovely,

Transformed is an understatement

Thank you Saied

Saied has been over to prune the fruit trees he planted for me 2 years ago. They produced so much fruit this year despite still being so young, I'm sure this is because as a specialist he chose each tree carefully. His follow up care has been been most helpful. Friendly and reliable as always.

Once again reliable Saied has come to the rescue of my little unloved garden.

He's pruned, weeded, cutback, planted bulbs and fetched a new tree for me. All in a few hours and I can look out and smile at the garden again. Did I mention he tidies up after himself like a demon and brings organic apples from his allotment for my children?!

If you need a pre-winter spruce up give him a call - you won't find a lovelier harder-working gardener.

Another recommendation for Saied - he came for the day to prepare our garden for winter - mowed, moved herbs as requested and planted beans and garlic. Offered advice for the winter months.

Planted some. Bulbs for spring and gave us a pre-christmas discount.

He's the only man for. Our garden

Thanks Saied

I would recommend Saied's work. He constructed a raised vegetable garden in our back yard and planted it with broad beans and garlic. He has very high standards and was helpful with advice. Nothing was too much trouble and he even installed a bird feeder for me on the back deck.

Saied is an efficient, creative gardener and i would definitely use him again.

I wanted to recommend Saied as an excellent and reliable garden care specialist. He is knowledgeable and hardworking and takes pride in his work. He also built a durable and attractive back fence at our property. He is friendly and easy to work with and he will do his best to take csre of your property.

We have recently redeveloped our front garden and Saeid took care of all clearing, planting, paving, wall brick work and wrought iron fencing. He worked with a colleague and sourced a range of quotes for the wrought iron work whilst overseeing the quality of the work. The end is result is of a very high standard. This is the third time we have worked with Saied for some major work in the last year. He has previously overhauled our back garden and laid a new patio. He is trustworthy and extremely committed to doing a good job. It is rare to come across somebody who cares as much about the quality of their work as Saeid. He has built a strong relationship with our family and we hope to continue working with him for many years to come.

We'd like to add to the many recommendations here for Saied. He's singlehandedly (in some awful, awful weather) transformed our front garden and some of our rear garden by digging, lugging, endless trips to the dump and has done it all for a reasonable sum and with complete grace. He even broke a toe in the process (saying "well it was only one") He's a real gent and we recommend him wholeheartedly. Worth his weight in gold.

Apart from being an very likeable and trustworthy person, Saied is a hardworking, effective and knowledgeable gardener. We contacted him to trim an overgrown Virginia Creeper on the front of our 2 floor flat (not an easy feat with no level surface below), and Saied did the job efficiently and neatly. We are very happy with the outcome and would not hesitate to recommend him for any gardening project - he is definitely the person we ourselves will contact in the future.

Best,

Margot & Yuval

Just wanted to add my/our recommendation for Saied. He's been working on our garden for the last week (it was totally overgrown - our house was unlived in for over a year before we moved in and it was a jungle out there)- and he has already totally transformed it. It's a biggish garden so a lot of work, and he's done it so well and also is just polite and friendly even when (as people above have experienced) he's had to do some heavy work alone or in terrible weather. He's unfailingly nice! The garden now has a fab lawn for the kids to play on, plus areas for planting veg etc, and he is going to be planting some fruit trees at the bottom. He's had lots of ideas and he has plenty of experience (as you can see from the posts here) with pictures to show for it, which is really helpful. Really can't recommend him highly enough.

Dulwich Eco Garden has done a fantastic job on our fence. My husband has a weekend gardening list as long as his arm and it has been such a relief to find Saied. The work that he and his colleague Mike have done is of a very high standard that even my "I like to do everything myself" husband has to admit it :) They are very pleasant to have around, professional and personable. I highly recommend. I am already thinking what the next job can be!

Hi,

Just adding my voice to say that Saied did a brilliant job on my garden a couple of weeks ago and he did a great job. I was starting to think I didn't know where to start as the garden was out of control. He rebuilt the raised beds in my veg patch, cleared all the rampant brambles, ivy etc. And the best thing was the trellis that he made me for my new climbing roses and clematis. He built it from scratch and it looks amazing... better than any of the stuff you can buy, so thanks Saied, and see you in a few months.

    • Wood pigeons strut about in my garden as if they own the place.   It's amusing watching them try to work out how to access the bird feeder ports. They usually end up walking about underneath the feeders  hoping for bits to drop down 😂 This has  however wrecked the bed which my bird feeder pole is in, which now has virtually no plants in it, including some which I had had for decades 😭
    • I've not heard of many moving to SE23 from SE22 or choosing SE23 over SE22 in the first place.  Certainly Clapham and other expensive places to the west.  It may be that this is my demographic but there was always a feeling that Forest Hill was rougher, off the beaten track, until the arrival of the Overground changed everything.  But there again the gentrification of Penge is astonishing That was drafted a few days ago.  But I seriously have to disagree with Cycle Monkey.  The eastern edges of SE23 are extremely convenient for St Dunstan's, and on the lower parts of SE23 a doable ride to Sydenham High.  Not that either was a factor for us.
    • We are just having a little fun with the OP.  I am sure someone who is planning to send their children to the Dulwich private schools need not consider the horror of "downgrading" to Forest Hill and our dreadful child exhausting geography.
    • I wouldn't recommend Forest Hill if you have a child in one of the Dulwich private schools and you intend to cycle. ..that hill is very steep. In my opinion the ideal locations would be around Court Lane/near library - I used to cycle across Dulwich Park with my little one to go to one of these schools - when I used to live there. Houses might be on the smaller side. around North Dulwich/Herne Hill great transport link to the City and you are also close to Brockwell Park  or West Dulwich (not the most exciting area but very quiet and very convenient for DP, pre Prep and DC.)  Nice houses as well.
