I'd also like to add my recommendation for Steve. He came yesterday to look at our washing machine. Punctual, extremely knowledgeable, and helpful. It was such a relief to find someone so reliable. Reasonable rates. No cheque but has a card machine.
The thermostat on my oven wasn't working properly so I contacted Steve, The Spin Doctor. He advised me which part to order and when it arrived, he popped round to swap it over. He takes payment by debit or credit card and his prices are very reasonable. A punctual, efficient and really friendly guy. Highly recommended.

I have used Steve the Spin Doctor today, he solved my dishwasher problem and saved me ????. He is quick to respond, works without mess and reasonably priced. I recommend him.

If you have any domestic appliance issues give him a call.

Having called upon Steve to sort out our washing machine issue shortly after having my baby (yeah totally the worst time for it to stop working), I didn't realise that he could also help when our oven died. After passing over the error details, make and model Steve was honest snd told me it was better to replace the oven. Once I received the new oven Steve quickly made time to disconnect the old over, fit the new one and even took the old one downstairs so I didn't have to! He clearly knows his trade and I would happily recommend him to anyone who needs similar assistance.

Very quick, efficient and very reasonable in price too 😀 #godsend

I called Steve on Monday as my tumble dryer had ceased drying properly. He was able to schedule me in on Wednesday, arrived promptly, was quick to find the blockage, charged a good rate - all in all a great service. I would definitely recommend.

Another great recommendation for Steve at The Spin Doctor. The fan element on my Baumatic oven failed so I did my research on EDF and found his details. Steve was quick to respond with a convenient time and was very accommodating when I had to change it. Steve was punctual and clearly knew his stuff. He replaced the element quickly and I had a working oven again. He takes payment by card. Steve was efficient, friendly and left no mess. Would definitely use him again.

A big thumbs up from me too.

Some months ago the Spin Doctor came out to look at my noisy dishwasher, told me that it was dying and would need replacing, but to keep using it until it died, and then to contact him.

It took quite a while, but the dishwasher did finally croak and I duly texted Steve, he recommended an Indesit built in machine via AO. In his experience it is reliable, does the job and at a sensible price.

I duly purchased and booked Steve for fitting. He turned up early (called me first), plumbed the machine in, refitted the unit door and advised me of use. Clean and efficient at a reasonable cost.

There is only one Spin-Doctor.

Does he do cookers, or just things that spin?

My expensive (for me) cooker develped a fault just after the guarantee ran out and just after I had decided not to pay an arm and a leg for their effing extended warranty which they kept sending me letters urging me to buy, grammar.

It's not stopping it working, just noisy. I know what's probably wrong as it appears to be a common fault, but I don't want to attempt to fix it myself. It just (just! It's only two years old!!) needs a part replacing.

Washing machine broke down and I have a 2-week old baby - worst possible timing! Needed someone urgently.

Found Steve the Spin Doctor on the forum and gave him a call. Luckily he was in the area and had a quick gap between appointments. Came over, knew what the issue was, had the part we needed and just got on with it. Job done, machine fixed and baby clothes in the wash!

Steve was friendly, thorough and competent. Charged a fair price and even had a card machine which was handy!

Will recommend any time!

    • In just two days, we’ll take to the streets to show Donald Trump that he and his politics are not welcome here. On Saturday the global far-right mobilised their biggest protest for decades. We want to show that supporters of Trump and fascism are not the majority – far from it. Here are all the details you need for the day. The march assembles at Portland Place, near the BBC, at 2pm (see assembly blocs below). After speeches here, the march will move off at 3pm. It will then march down Regent St, through Piccadilly Circus, on Whitehall (past Downing St) to our rally at Parliament Square. The rally at Parliament Square will begin around 5pm and finish at 7pm. If you can’t make it to the march, feel free to join the rally after work! (Nearest tube: Westminster). The short, accessible version of the route assembles at the top of Whitehall (SW1A 2DY) at 4.30pm to march to Parliament Square for 5pm. You may also prefer to just join the rally directly at Parliament Square.  Join a bloc – and make friends! Our movement is diverse, and various elements are forming ‘blocs’ on the march to emphasise their visual presence collectively. You can join these blocs or form up behind them:   A) Palestine, near BBC, W1A 1AA B) Climate, W1B 1NS C) Amnesty, around junction with New Cavendish St, W1B 1LU D) Migrants' rights, W1B 1LS E) Jewish bloc, W1B 1QQ F) Ukraine, around junction with Weymouth St, W1B 1JL G) Europe, W1B 1NR More stewards still needed Stewards are a crucial part of keeping the protest safe for everyone to participate. They are a visible point of contact for attendees who may need directions or other assistance. Experience of stewarding is useful but it's also fine if you haven't done it before. You will be issued with a hi-vis jacket and briefed in advance and on the day.  Sign up to be a steward Staying comfortable on the day The demonstration lasts for several hours, so we suggest you should:     Bring a bottle of water and snacks (and eat beforehand)     Charge your phone fully the night before, and bring a portable charger if you can     Go to the loo beforehand (really!)     Buddy up with someone, or stick together as a group – it can be hard to find people easily if people wander off     Coming alone? Protests can be a great place to meet like-minded people. If you feel unsure, you can always talk to a steward     Consider the weather: bring a waterproof jacket or wear suncream where necessary     Wear comfortable clothes and footwear, and use our accessible route if you need to (see above) Bring your friends and family on Wednesday. Let’s make this massive! In solidarity, Stop Trump Coalition
