Hi Will

I totally sympathise.. Hoome office still has my passport (since Sept) and apparently it should have been back by now!, we went through a similar thing recently with Mrs Strawbs who needed to go on a holiday and they said 10 working days and it turned up literally on the 10th day..

Depending on where it is coming from it might be worth calling them up and if they havent sent it then getting them to send it to work for you..

thanks strawbs, fortunately for me my employer has asked me to stay at home every day until i start my new job (so as not to take trade secrets etc) so im in & waiting for mr postman... (& watching murder she wrote..)

Furthermore, when i went to the post office yesterday they had shut at 2pm , blaming the weather!! Now, if you can open 9-2, why the hell can you not open 9-5?????????????????? i ask you?grrrr brrrrrrrrr blahh

Wow you are on that fabulous kind of leave where you are supposed to be gardening!! I too am leaving my job but no such luck for me unfortunately!!

Maybe they were trying to be nice to their staff and letting them attempt to get home before it got dark given a few peeps had to walk alot of the way yesterday (me included and Im in canary wharf!!).. But yes I hear your pain so rant away my friend..

So stressful when for any reason your passport is away and I have to say the customer service in this country doesnt fill you with any kind of confidence that matters are all in hand..

Good luck and enjoy Jessica Fletcher!

    • I’m currently conducting exploratory research into menstrual health education in UK secondary schools and would really value the insight of PSHE leads, Heads of Year, or pastoral staff.    The research aims to understand:   How the menstrual cycle is currently taught within the RSHE framework Where schools feel confident — and where there may be gaps Whether students are taught and  asking questions around the full menstrual cycle, symptoms, wellbeing and conditions such as PMS/PMDD or endometriosis How schools support students in feeling empowered to understand their bodies and seek help appropriately Whether education around nutrition, lifestyle, and menstrual wellbeing is currently addressed   The long-term goal is to explore whether there is a need for additional, age-appropriate, medically informed support on the menstrual cycle.  I’m not selling a programme and there is no obligation beyond a 30 minute informal chat online (Unpaid). All conversations will be confidential and used only to inform the research. If you work in a UK secondary school and would be willing to share your perspective, I would be extremely grateful to hear from you. Please comment below or email me [email protected] Thank you for the vital work you do. Best wishes, Emma
