I work with colour a lot (theory, psychology, application, etc) and some years ago remember reading a piece in the BMJ about a medical research project related to colour impairment... I feel sure that the piece said that around 30% of males are either colour 'blind' or have some level colour impairment... I can't for the life of me find any evidence of this study online, so maybe there is new evidence that that takes the % back down to one in ten males... anyone know any thing about this?

Top left might be a 5 and 8?...

Top right defo 18...

Bottom left, nae chance...

Bottom right 1 and 7 or maybe 2?...

On the subject of lefties, there was a boy at my school who was naturally left handed, and he reckoned a doctor said he had developed a stammer because his parents tried to get him to use his right hand/foot when he was younger!..

BBW, I too have been tempted but saw the effects and read too much and saw too many photos. I drew my own conclusions and feel nightmares like that should be left in the past, if possible.

Is the diagram not 58, 18, E and 17?

Agreed Red Devil, never try to change the hand/foot that children use. I think it confuses them.

That happened to my grand-dad. I'm not sure what year he was born, but some time around the turn of the century. I understand that teachers would tie his left hand to his side. Anyway, he stammered all his life because of it, but had a lovely tenor singing voice, without stammer.

Edited to say - sorry for going (and remaining) off topic - I have never chewed gum!

If the first answer is "8" then I got the first two only.

The second, I assume is "10" no idea about the 3rd or 4th one.

    • I have been training at the hub for just over one year. I really enjoy the variety of training offered and the quality of the instructors. Very effective group classes and enjoyable in the open air! A very welcoming place which makes a fitmess journey pleasant!
    • We're are just about to get ready for sale, a 2 bed flat, very close to Peckham Rye park.  It has been rented out for sometime, so is in need of some TLC for it to look its best, before it goes on the market.  Would be interested to know others thoughts on whether its best to just have the place painted completely white throughout, probably with new grey flooring, or if it might be more appealing to add some colour/interest (nothing too drastic), perhaps something alittle 'warmer', with some nice (potentially dark) feature walls maybe? Wondered whether the days of going completely white might now have passed ..... It might be useful to know that its not a period or conversion property, but rather a flat in a private purpose built block.
    • It's a Microsoft . pub file, and it does open OK, but that's a discontinued program which used to be part of the full Office suite. I've got an old machine with old software and it's still on that.  This is a .pdf version (I hope)April 2025 Dulwich Hill Newsletter.pdf
    • Even with Acrobat pro - it does not open even though it is an acrobat doc.   Error: "Adobe Acrobat could not open 'April 2025 Dulwich Hill Newsletter.pub' because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded). To create an Adobe PDF document, go to the source application. Then choose Save as Adobe PDF from the PDF dropdown in the Print dialog."
