  1. Indeed I do. Worst place up near there is Skelmersdale, known as "Skem" (in a harsh almost spat out scouse accent). My ex's dad moved there for some reason... What an absolute fecking dump!
  2. On that particular one I think I'd go with the latter. Mmmmm Hot Wings.
  3. Yeah fair enough, I'd agree with that, but I think these posts are quite transparent, and usually get shot down in flames anyway.
  4. *bob* got there before me, but I can't let that one slide. Even if I was agreeing with anything you said before, you're now dead to me.
  5. I'm torn on this. Reading ruffers' post I was nodding, thinking "quite right". However, places get praised on here if they are great, if you have a really bad experience, why not share it? You could argue that people have a right to know, and as adults, surely we can make our minds up. I can honestly say that nothing I've read on here has ever made me try a place out or not. I agree that maybe you should say something there and then, but if you get no joy from that, then by all means get on the forum and stick the knife in! >:D<
  6. I'm from London, ED born & bred. However, at 18 I couldn't wait to fly the nest, and went up to Liverpool for uni. Ended up staying there for a good 5 years, not comin home for summers like all my old mates did, and getting a job up there after uni. When I came back down to train for my job in 2001, I fully intended to head straight back to the pool when I was done. However, I ended up getting a placement in Greenwich, and by the time I'd finished that, I was wondering why I'd ever left London, and decided home was home, and here I'd stay. I may well go off and live elsewhere for a year or 2 at some stage, but at the end of the day, I love London, and think I'll spend most of my days here... ED has gone to sh!t though ;-)
  7. I'm kind of with him on The Rye, so long as he doesn't start bigging up the Bish! ;-)
  8. Maybe you guys are right, my head is cloudy today.
  9. That is absolute genius! It's mental all the middle classes you see in MacDonald's, because they think Iceland isn't good enough! ... Oh, wait a sec, no it isn't really is it. Would love to hear your take on Gourmet Burger Kitchen!
  10. Seriously, as I've said before, it's not bad (although nothing special) for a beer in the afternoon, but Friday and Saturday it's full of tw@ts.
  11. I've only just looked at this, the Camberwell thing makes me laugh. Quite fun looking at the places you lived when at uni and stuff. "Passed" a bus on Kirkdale advertising a film in cinemas from August 20th, so dates seem to add up. You can see 2 people through the windows of the CPT, one of whom I think is Candice (formaer manager), but hard to be sure.
  12. What, so they're not going to try and make it nice then?
  13. I have a "vote for Pedro" t-shirt, but that is another story.
  14. Probably not.
  15. Like I've been beaten up, everything aches. Aaaanyway, do we have a super b!tch this year?
  16. The Apprentice is the only reality TV I do watch, I love it, just some of the most deluded thick people on the planet! Unfortunately I never saw last night, as I was all ready to watch it, when I got suddenly very ill, and had to have a doctor out. No fun at all, but will make sure I catch up.
  17. Do you shee the beast, have you got it in your shights?
  18. Still fancy this, but very much depends on Mrs Keef and her bump!
  19. Is that you Dave? I thought Dan was alright and got a fair bit of unwarranted stick, but I seem to be in the minority. I also know lots of people who'd have paid to have seen that headbutt, and whilst wrong, I do think that having a beer thrown over me by a mouthy prick may have made me want to do the same. Anyway, just so we're clear on here, the CPT is NOT a rough pub.
  20. Ha ha MP, I thought you were joking in that text! Sounds like I left at the right time last night. Although I insisted on skinning up and continuing the drinking when I got home. Feel horrible now!
  21. Not at all, I was just on a train having a whitey.

    Sunglasses

Annoyingly I always feel too hot to wear sunglasses, so I go for a nice small pair I can use as a hairband.
  23. I'm with you- gyms suck, as does everyone fitter than me, which pretty much includes you all these days :-S
  24. Have never thought of a whitey as fainting, more massive paranoia and a huge freak out. I suggest having a beer.
  25. Loved Rome, would like to see a film, but have my doubts as to how good it could be.
