The destination of this bus has changed

Yes they have to follow the tachograph limits, at times being forced to stop at really inconvenient times (not just for the passenger but also the driver and other traffic). People shouldn't get grumpy with drivers, they are made to follow an overall network of controllers. They have to follow their instructions, most of the time following ridiculous and ill-informed details, or face being fined personally and to the bus company. What I find more annoying is people complaining they are going to be late when stuck on a bus that is waiting for a driver change or time regulating. That particular bus is only running to the planned time it is/was meant to be, meaning you'd have been late getting that bus anyway! If it's really such an issue about being on time to somewhere the answer is simple... lose that extra 20 min "lay in", get ya bum outta bed and get up and out early! -

Ok "loop hole" was probably not the greatest term of phrase to have used however... I stand by my point that what is the point of having classifications and indeed a planning department, if businesses can come in and do what they like anyway? Where is the control? Clockworkorange - It has nothing to do with whether a shop space is left empty or not. The classifications are there for a reason - to keep a balance of the type of trades available in an area. I'm sure a RETAILER would happily have taken the space in question. There's no need to have another eatery in the area to which this issue has already been addressed when planning was processed AND refused. Would your opinion be different if another indian restaurant or estate agent took the space? I bet it would...

Speedo Pizza moved - what's happening to empty shop
KalamityKel replied to Bo Peep's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Some people, I hear, wouldn't classify pizza as "food"... perhaps that's Jeremy's point? ;-) -

Yet it would appear the intentions for this property are different? I don't understand - planning for change of use was already refused yet gathering from other things already mentioned that doesn't matter because of a loop hole in the system? Is this really right?

No clue about IPhones so forgive me if functionality doesn't operate the same as "normal" smart phones :-) BUT are you sure you haven't got data roaming switched on? Are you fooled (fooled by which I mean the app doesn't need to be update as often as it says it does) by the "this app needs updating" and press ok to update which might then be connecting to data roaming to complete the process?

I believe there have been rumours floating around for sometime that the "owner" (I only mention this as heresy) was going to open some kind of eatery regardless of the refusal for change of use. I had hoped the owner would be sensible and considerate to the concerns already raised. A shame if that's not so...

A2214 London - A2214 East Dulwich Grove in North Dulwich closed in both directions between the Dulwich Village junction and the Green Dale junction, because of a burst water main and emergency repairs. Diversion in operation - bus route 37 is diverted via Dulwich Village and Calton Avenue. http://www.bbc.co.uk/travelnews/london
