Sean, are we sniffing out for rats that may well be the size of a full grown moggy by any chance? Louisa.

Is ED about to experience another property boom?

Cassius a nice Greggs sausage roll washed down with a bottle of Dom, does life get much better? Louisa. -
Is ED about to experience another property boom?
Louisa replied to Emily's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Cassius, the Maldives for 6 months of the year, and New Zealand for the remainder. I bet my shitty little terrace could buy me a 5 bed beach house in both countries and still give me some change. You coming? Louisa. -
Is ED about to experience another property boom?

SteveT a truer post has never been posted. Made in GB is no longer a credible force - why? Because successive governments of all colours have slowly eroded away our ability to produce and export goods. We sold everything off from cars to steel, and then it would was decided on our behalf that a whole host of traditional British industries should be completely ravaged overnight without any mechanism in place to help aid our economy into a new era. We have been sitting on a ticking timebomb since the late 1980's. We have around a decade of oil left in the North Sea, our banking system has proven just how fragile it really is and indeed unreliable. Set this against the backdrop of an economy almost conjoined to the United States and here we lay in utter ruin. As for the housing market, it was all a bunch of lies - a stupid crappy little terrace in a shitty part of SE London worth how much? Get real for god sakes, you must be living in dreamworld if you thought that was gonna last. Fast forward to Britain in 2010, house prices still falling, people still losing jobs (potentially 3 to 4 million out of work, and an economy hanging on by the skin of its teeth. Go another decade beyond that and you may be questioning why you ever stayed behind on this sinking ship. Louisa. -
Horsebox, *Bob* knows only to well what I am capable of. Those Ann Summers visits were not in vein, believe me ;-) Louisa.

Well thus far I dont think I have accused anyone of outright fabrication, and neither has anyone else! Going by what some other posters have claimed, and again purely based on a consistant group of credible posters, the overriding concensus seems to be that stories such as these are in no way able to be proven, and indeed that there is a history of such threads being created by said forum member (again according to a large number of other posters) so therefore I come to the conclusion based on the evidence provided to me that they may well have a point, that is not to say that poppy has 100% certainly lied about this incident, maybe it did happen, but even if it didnt happen, a few people making a lighthearted discussion out of it is in no way a bad thing, this isnt the most significant issue ever to arise on here is it? This little clique is what I am interested in dulwichdoll, who be they? Do not include me in any such group because if you read back over my history as a poster on this forum you may notice that I have often been judged and shot down in flames but I take it all with a pinch of salt because I stand by my conviction to post about things that concern or interest me. So yes I do get your point, but it seems to me to be an irrelevent point with no grounding that is jumping to conclusions based on the words of one poster against the majority. Louisa.

dulwichdoll, if I was offended by people bullying or discrediting my posts I think I would have left this forum a long time ago lol :)) No one is preventing you from airing your views, and again no one if preventing our very own storyteller poppy from providing us with a few lines either, I really do not understand what you are getting so angry about? Louisa.

Dulwichdoll, get a grip my love, you are turning this entire fabrication into a media frenzy, it was a lovely tale and we all went along with it so where is the problem? I dont have one! (Although I do tend to prefer BBW's version of this) Louisa.

Rockells Place SE22 (Local history question.)
Louisa replied to Vik's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Hi Vik, I know this may not be much help, but this website I have found some great old photographs of the local area on and some fairly detailed descriptions of places long gone. Here is the link: Forest Hill Louisa. -
A good old fashioned tongue lashing by the sounds of it and good on poppy for allowing her imagination to get well and truly carried away with itself. Louisa.

I once checked out the floor space in a Primark and was shocked to discover I couldnt actually move at all, the ground was littered with cheap clothing items apparantly 'new'! Louisa.

Stop picking daffodils from GG and Peckham Rye Park!!
Louisa replied to Louisa's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
Just a little bounce to remind people that I have put my posters up (as of sunday evening) so if any of you are on Peckham Rye, Dulwich Park or GG keep an eye out and always remember, a daffodil is to be respected! Louisa. -
Is ED about to experience another property boom?
Louisa replied to Emily's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
"Pure flights of fantasy, there is no such place as Sheffield, people arnt unemployed!"... .... "So many sold signs everywhere, so much building work, houses selling fast... is this the bottom of the market for ED?" from one fantasy quote to another... someone needs a reality check! Louisa. -
What a lame thread! :)) Louisa.

Put the extra revenue back into our ailing car industry. Louisa.

bignumber5 you obviously clearly lack any form of understanding on this issue so maybe it is best you do not go there so to speak. annaj said a few unprovoked things about me rather than to me hence my responses which followed. Tillie and I have a history of 'thread warfare' on a whole host of topics and I am sure we both give as good as we get, and btw we resolved those issues many moons ago so again not quite sure what your point is here either. I never go out to be personally offensive with anyone and I always pursue any disagreements in public with private messaging if I believe it goes too far. More to the point, why are you responding on this thread about things that happened hours ago? I always get accused of stirring the s*it, and yet I have only been talking about pizzas for goodness sakes, it was others who went off topic not me! Louisa.

I know it is a million miles away from ED but I always go down to Richmond and watch the race in one of the pubs along by the river :)-D Louisa.

I press the record button everytime I get a silencer or a hoaxer, I just shout down the phone to them that they are being tracked by the police and they soon hang up. Louisa.

I cant think of anything more patronising and offensive than a Jazz bar. I'd rather have a William Rose Hypermarket than one of those bloody things. Louisa.

I think I know who dumps the bread and it is unsightly. Can bread attract vermin? Louisa. -
I once hitched a ride from Canberra to Sydney in the back of a pick up truck containing 3 dogs. Took a fair few hours from memory and I was knocked about a bit, I had loads of bruises too. In the UK I have hitched pretty much everywhere, but the most memorable one was back in 1986 when I was drunk and I fell out of a pub in St Ives Cornwall and managed to somehow make it back to London overnight in a car full of people I had been speaking to in the pub (I was not meant to come home for another week but just for the hell of it thought it would be fun). When I got home I realised that all of my bags and personal belongings were still on a camp site in Hayle and I had just come back to London only to have to catch a train back down to Cornwall the next day to continue with my holiday. Fun times. Louisa.
