  1. "Scratch" - what a gwan?
  2. I thought it for the best. Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. I'm sure he'll thank me for it in the long run. It'll save on a lot of hurt, pain and disappointment. It's what friends are for.
  3. Oh dear oh dear oh dear. Are you sure you're doing the right thing old stick? As bon3yard has quite rightly pointed out she has a musculature like Bruce Lee and you yourself have noticed the similarities in her teeth to Terry Thomas. What I'm trying to tell you and I don't want you to take this wrong way and I'm trying to break this to you as gently as I can but I feel you should know that Madonna has been masquarading as woman for the last 25 years or so. In short, she is a man. A man called Malcolm. A very convincing transvestite that has had most of the world apart from a few of us that are in the know. She has a cock and quite an impressive one so I'm told. Believe me it took an awful lot of harnessing into that Jean Paul Gaultier basque. I'm so sorry to break it to you like this but I just thought you should know.
  4. Good for you Bon3yard. With a bit of luck they won't let you back in. Can't stand the place myself. Variety is the spice of life. Don't remain stagnant.
  5. In The Name Of The Father - Black Grape
  6. Hello Yula, You could try the Plough up at the Library. I'm sure you could get a gig up there. Keef of this forum does open mics up there and would certainly be able to advise you better than I can. Also the Forest Hill Tavern and occasionally the EDT have live music on plus there is Hoopers too. Sue, also of this forum promotes folk nights up there. Further afield there is the Half Moon in Herne Hill or the Ivy House in Nunhead. Welcome to the forum and best of luck.
  7. Oh how simply marvellous. That beastly Osborne's had it coming to him. See you there Smoochie-Woochie.
  8. Good Grief! Smoochie-Woochie, the Beast Of Bodmin. How the bloody hell are you. I thought you were dead. It's been simply decades. Must catch up sometime.
  9. Yes, I thought you being a little facetious Lady G. I might have put 2-2 on the predictions thingy but if I'm really honest I think Liverpool will win 3-1. We've had a good start under Harry Redknapp but the bubble will probably burst this weekend, mind you having said that Liverpool have got to lose at some point and I'm hoping it'll be this weekend against the Spurs.
  10. Unfortunately I can't make it for various reasons.

  16. I won't let you forget it. Ha ha!
  17. You mean your eyesight Ladygooner. They'd be bloody big glasses even if they only stretched to the dugout or the next row for that matter.
  18. Whereabouts in Holborn Mike? I used to work in New Fetter Lane many moons ago and would get the train to Holborn Viaduct (now sadly no more), after that closed it was a pleasant stroll from Blackfriars, along Farringdon Road, up Fleet Street, cut through the alley past the Cheshire Cheese and Doctor Johnson's house, then past The Cartoonist, then up around the bend and Bob's yet uncle. Oh Happy days! I'm in Canary Wharf now, which is completely souless and vile. Full of suits, shoppers and security guards. I'd get the bus up Dog Kennel Hill if I were you, then a train from Denmark Hill and if you can't be doing with Peckham Rye do as Brendan suggested.
  19. You're right ????. Let's pull up stumps and go back to the Pavillion. Edited: Because felt like it OK.
