I thought the statistic about Camberwell crime was startling - but glad it was aired as you cannot sweep these things under the carpet and hope they go away. That guy who asked the question should be applauded - as it puts Camberwell back on the Radar. The question about the Kebab was irrelevant for a panel who knew nothing about the area first hand. Richard Dimbleby could have reversed the question at the audience, and asked for a show of hands on, how many people in the audience would feel safer walking at night in Peckham than in their home towns back in Bristol, Leeds, Bradford, Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow or overseas etc..
