Sorry to disappoint you but Sharon Stone is a rather dim and unattractive shelf-stacker on work experience. On the other hand, when I was in Tesco on Old Kent Road recently there was an announcement "Would Harvey Keitel, film actor and screen legend, who has taken some time to join us in the roll of a humble in-store janitor to research his latest film role, please go to aisle 7 where a child has vomited." And guess what.....
When working in government offices above a large shopping centre in Belfast we soon learnt that the announcement "Plumbers to the basement, please" meant there was a suspect device somewhere in the building. You may imagine my dismay when I heard this announcement being made whilst sitting on the loo, midway through a lengthy commune with nature!
What happens if there really is an Inspector Sams (perhaps a police officer of same rank, or someone who work for the Inland Revenue) and he or she gets fed up with going up and down to the basement for no apparent reason? Surely this is somewhat ill-conceived as a policy? Why not just come out with it "There is a bomb in the building. Run like f**k!"

'Inspector Sands' I think - fire alarm activated in the station. There is a different one for suspected bomb alerts which is even more innocuous (and doesn't come up on a quick google).

    • Second time that Leon has come to the rescue . He was here within 2 hours -- ok he was working locally but he didn't have to fit me in .Shows what he's like ,he'll try and get to you asap .And he carries a number of commonly used parts and doesn't have to go off and get them . (You might think that this isn't deserving of comment ,but believe me it is ! ) Great guy ,100% recommend .
    • Hi all,   Does anyone have a two or three person tent they no longer want or need? As compact as possible would be ideal in order to carry in a bag/on a bike. Many thanks Joe
    • Today between approximately 3:30 and 4:00 PM, someone entered the back door of an estate agency and stole items from the kitchen, including a microwave and kettle. The individual then proceeded to trash the kitchen before leaving. This happened near Shawbury/Lordship Lane. If anyone saw a man carrying these items or acting suspiciously in the area around that time, please report it to the authorities and let me know. if anyone has access to cameras located near the area, your help would be appreciated.  Let’s help keep our community safe.
    • Well, that makes me feel better about my presently chaotic "office" (aka dumping ground for random stuff 😀) I do use it for an office as well though. That's what I'm supposed to be doing now, instead of mindlessly scrolling on my phone 😭
